The Relationship between Acceptance and Usage of Information and Communication Technology and Educational and Research Performance of Faculty Members of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2008-2009
Abstract
The present research studied the relationship between acceptance and usage of information and communication technology with educational and investigative performance of faculty members of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Investigating unknowns and educational challenges was one of the reasons for conducting this research .This research was application research and descriptive survey from aim perspective and was based on correlation analysis. The sample consisted of 274 of faculty members of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and questionnaire and interview have been used as data collection tools. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to calculate the reliability of different parts of questionnaire. The following results using Pearson correlation coefficient, there was a positive relationship (direct) between usage rate of information and communication technology by faculty members of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and their educational and research performance.ı
