The thermal properties of PVC fabric membrane itself make it insufficient in fire resistance, and the overall stability of the membrane structure will be seriously threatened after a fire. In this paper, a small-size membrane burn-through test platform was designed and built, and the intermediate fire and corner fire tests were conducted to obtain smoke filling and membrane surface temperature law of change. Results showed that the softening and melting temperature of the membrane is about 164 °C, and the critical temperature of the membrane is about 257 °C. At the same time, the comparative analysis of the experiment and simulation results verified that the feasibility of Fire Dynamics Simulation to study the membrane structure fire.
