TIBET UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE QING EMPIRE IN THE 18TH CENTURY: FEATURES OF INTERACTION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the place of Tibet in the system of Chinese foreign relations of Qing period in the 18th century. The author, based on Chinese sources, investigates the main ways of Qing to establish protectorate over Buddhist Tibet.
