The article discusses a pilot study on ethical education in two preschools. The project involved teachers, children and parents to deepen the ethical understanding of subjects aged four and five, to explore the effectiveness of guided dialogue in the classroom and extension activities aimed at promoting reflections, ethical discussions and moral development in children in pre-school age. The data was collected through observations, interviews, activities, questionnaires; the analysis of the data is in particular qualitative, without neglecting a quantitative contribution. The project involved two early childhood schools: a specific ethical education intervention was carried out in the first, a standard control program was followed in the second.
