Multi-objective optimization method of energy storage system capacity allocation for marine microgrid lithium battery
Abstract
Objective This study proposes a multi-objective optimization method for the capacity allocation of a lithium battery energy storage system (ESS) in a ship's microgrid to smooth the power fluctuation of the microgrid for ship power generation. Method First, an optimization design model is established with the objective functions of ESS cost, smoothing power fluctuations, energy balance. A multi-objective differential evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D-DE) is then designed for the optimization model. Taking a dual-fuel (diesel-natural gas) microgrid of electric propulsion ship as the object, the Matlab program is used to implement the algorithm and obtain the optimal solution set, and multi-attribute decisions are made according to the different weight distributions of the sub-objective function. Results The results of the five schemes obtained by the simulation all meet the goal of smoothing power fluctuations. The cost and ESS life loss targets are significantly affected by weight allocation, and the expected results are obtained. Conclusion This design method has reference significance for the capacity allocation of ESS of marine lithium battery.
