Abstract This report describes the case of an 84‐year‐old male who was brought to the emergency room because a dental bur was swallowed accidentally during a dental procedure. The foreign body was successfully removed by gastroenterologists endoscopically 8 days after the ingestion and was identified as a 2‐cm‐long dental bur.
