Slogans, widely used by some modern social movements inRussia, have different suggestive effect on people. The extent of their ideological impact on participants of political or social opposition depends not only on the semantics of the language units, entering in publicistic arsenal, but also on their lexical and syntactic arrangement. In this article, the authors study the role of language as the main instrument of ideology. They analyze some slogans of modern social movements and come to the conclusion that the most indicative are models with an adverb together, although phrases with imperative verbal forms and nominal sentences have more suggestive power. The detailed analysis shows that slogans of far-right social movements have the greatest manipulative effect.
