This article aims to analyze the importance of horizontalization of information within the doctor-patient relationship, from the observation of the evolution of all -political socio-economic context that gives rise to a new conformation in new ethical standards. In this context, highlighted the importance of the duty to inform the medical professional as a result of the affirmation of the principle of Human Dignity , and the right to self-determination , which this takes place. For both, it is descriptive research on the topic, such as a deductive character approach, using bibliographic and documentary data on the topic in question.
