Human life is said to be intertwined with three events namely birth, marriage and death. These three events orderly take place in the first phase, middle phase and final phase of one’s life. All communities give importance to these three events. Birth and death occur to all living creatures that emerged on earth. The event of marriage belongs only to the human being. All civilized people have many restrictions and customs on marriage. Marriage is a social construct that seeks to know about the relationship between two minds, body, soul, revolt, emotion and about its spirituality. Marriage transforms a man from a husband to a father and a woman from a wife to a mother, giving them a higher status, responsibility, duty and entitlement in society. Marriage is the reason for the disappearance of the selfish thought ‘I am, mine’ and the appearance of good thought 'we are, ours'. Marriage binds two bodies as one life, it’s a cure for loneliness and purifies love emotions. Professor Subbu Reddiar had already realized the essential virtues to know about human anatomy for good domestic life. The present research explores and analyses the importance of life stages, human anatomy, physical elements, emotions, the superiority of the husband-wife relationship, its scientific perspective, psychological counseling, and guidance and provides suggestions for leading better domestic life with the ideas evinced by Subbu Reddiar. In this regard, the study seeks to examine Professor N.Subbureddiar’s way of evincing domestic ethics for society in a universal approach.
