Abstract
The molecule of title compound, C16H12Cl2O2, is centrosymmetric. Thus, the asymmetric unit comprises two half-molecules. The two benzene rings are coplanar in each independent molecule (dihedral angles = 0°). The crystal packing exhibits intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds and C—H...π interactions.
