After 40 years, the first results of the proposed crossing of absorption have been widely transferred at farms in the region. Most herds of goats oasis region were more or less affected by the introduction of goats genotypes. At farm level, the crossing was implemented without technical restrictions in order to generate a genetic mix in the different modes of production. Therefore, we conducted a survey to nearly 85 goat farmers delegation Mareth, where the cross was adopted in different rearing systems. The results show that the conduct is not sufficiently controlled, even in intensive, to enjoy the benefits of crossing. The conduct of breeding and the renewal does not consider the specific genotypes, such as seasonality and sexual risks of inbreeding. Some genetic requirements, such as the slaughter of male F1, are little known and respected by farmers thus hindering the optimization of available genetic resources. The general trend is the use of beef breeds such as improvement in quality races and this is reflected by the increased choice of race Damascus.
