Abstract: The Improvement of Learning Outcome for the Subject of Power Train Automotive System by Implementing Cooperative Learning. The aim of this research is to apply cooperative learning strategy for the subject of Power Train Automotive System (PTAS) by using the internet as activator, which can improve communications and interaction between the students and the lecturer, as well as cooperative attitude among students within group task in PTAS subject. The expected result of this research is that there will be an alternative learning model of which can improve the quality of learning process for PTAS subject, attain better academic outcome, and sharpen the ability of cooperative work. Particularly, the students will also have a new strategy on how to learn, and a new role on how to conduct cooperative learning and being active within group as participator. This new strategy will also influence students’ activities on how they are accustomed to finish some given problems. The result of the research shows that the cooperative learning strategy enables the students to explore their ability in various aspects; cognitive, social, and affective as well.
