Green inclusive leadership can produce positive outcomes for green innovation and green sustainability in all sectors. However, academic research on green creativity and green inclusive leadership is limited in the literature. Therefore, this study theorised a conceptual model based on the organisational creativity theory to investigate the impact of green inclusive leadership on green creativity with the mediating role of green passion and green absorptive capacity. Data in this study were gathered from 540 employees working in China’s electronics and machinery industry. The hypotheses were analysed using the partial least squares structural equation modelling technique (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that green inclusive leadership was positively and significantly linked to green creativity, and this association was significantly mediated by green passion and green absorptive capacity. Finally, the discussion, implications, and future research avenues were elaborated on in this study.
