PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN IN PRESCHOOLS OF CITY WITH DIFFERENT ECOLOGICAL SITUATION

Abstract

Purpose: To study in the city with large enterprises of ferrous metallurgy and coke effects of air pollutants on the performance of the physical development of children attending day care educational institutions located in areas with different environmental situation.Materials and methods. The investigation of the physical development in 2417 children of 3-7 years are conducted the anthropometric explorations of the length of body, weight of body, circumference of chest and head. Evaluation of the data carried by percentile method (all 2417 children) and age-sex regression scale limited contingent of children (1240 children).Results and summary. Found that as a result of effects on the man-made environment, especially air pollutants in children of preschool age there is a decrease in body weight, inhibiting the development of the chest circumference and head, as well as disharmony of physical development of deficit the chest circumference.
