Contraception: From fertility control to identity construction

Abstract

Paper features basic classification of contraceptives according to their use, modus operandi, and distribution. Role of contraceptives in reproduction policies is discus- sed, alongside with using them as tools of identity construction in particular social and cultural contexts.
