A case of “Recurrent Pyloric Stenosis” is presented. From the perspective of a senior pediatric surgeon, this is a new entity. Why? Perhaps it is because improvements in ultrasound technology have enabled earlier detection of pyloric hypertrophy. The argument is advanced that hypertrophic pyloric stenosis develops over time; and if treatment is instituted while hypertrophy is ongoing, recurrence may develop. Our aim is to draw attention to this phenomenon, which we anticipate will occur more frequently.
