RESPON KANDUNGAN GLUKOSA DARAH TERHADAP PEMBERIAN MINUMAN LIANG TEH PONTIANAK
Abstract
Besides, Dicliptera chinensis leaves have antioxidant properties which have been used for generations in medicine. The research was to determine the content of total phenols, total flavonoid, antioxidant activity, and the response of blood glucoseof Pontianakliang tea with D.chinensis tea. The methods used a completely randomized design with two treatments, consisting of 16g and 32g of D.chinensis leavescontent of liang tea formulation. Subjects involved 13 people for clinical trials, consuming Pontianakliang tea with D.chinensis leaves according to the treatment as much as 250 ml with 50 g glucose. The results showed that the highest bioactive content was the formulation of 32g D.chinensis in liang tea. The drink has total phenols 1591.30±6.01 mgGAE/100g, total flavonoids 1989.13±31.00 mgQE/100g, and antioxidant activity 60.25±1.00%. Thus, the use of 32g of muje leaves in Pontianakliang tea resulted in the best bioactive compound content, antioxidant activity, and blood glucose reduction.
