On the agent markers of ancient iberian language

Abstract

This papers discusses some recent studies on the identification of agent markers in Ancient Iberian language and the question of its alleged ergativity. They are used criteria from internal analysis, the epigraphical structure of the inscriptions and its parallels, and especially from linguistics typology.
