DEMONSTRATION OF EHRLICHIAL INCLUSION BODIES USING ACRIDINE ORANGE STAIN

Abstract

Acridine orange stain was successfully applied in a simple technique for the demonstrtion of E. canis morulae in the blood smears of naturally infected dogs. AO staining technique was found to be accurate, rapid and simple for screening large number of blood smears for detection of E. canis.
