The objective of the article is to analyze the impacts and the influence that the Cuban Revolution and its definition for the socialism had in the Latin American left as a whole and, particularly, in Venezuela. There are many studies about the constitution of guerrilla groups formed under the impact of the Cuban Revolution and about Cuban foreign policy saying that it stimulated the activities of these groups in the 60’s and in the 70’s. The goal of the paper is to go a little bit further, asking about the politicians and the groups formed under the impact and influence of Cuba in the 60’s and in the 70’s, but also trying to understand how Cuba can influence the Bolivarian Process, that emerged in the late 90’s in Venezuela. And, finally, its aims is to understand the relationships and activities of cooperation between both regimes until now.
