Guarem in the Clinical Practice in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

The paper presents the results of Guarem usage in 35 obese patients with impaired glucose metabolism. Guarem has a sufficient hypoglycemic effect and lipid-lowering action. The main benefit of this drug is a significant reduction in weight and body mass index in the absence of hunger. Thirty-three patients of 35 people noted the absence of increased appetite, feeling of saturation and lightness in keeping diet. Guarem is a drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetic patients when diet therapy, exercise and biguanides become ineffective or poorly tolerated.
