Gastrocopta iheringi (Suter, 1900) (Gastropoda, Vertiginidae): redescription of type material

Abstract

The holotype of Gastrocopta iheringi (Suter, 1900) was redescribed, illustrated and its identity was confirmed. The goal of this work was to elucidate questions relating to the identification of micromollusks in the genus Gastrocopta Wollaston, 1878.
