The extension is one of the tripod elements considered essential in higher education coupledwith teaching and research. This paper was an analysis of the State University extensionpractices the West of Paraná-Unioeste, focusing on projects developed on campusAdministration Course Francisco Beltrao. The research is characterized as qualitative, withprimary data obtained through interviews with coordinators of the project activity,characterized as a cross-sectional study. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Thepresentation of the structure facing the extension was given by consulting the documents ofthe Council for Research and Education and Extension (ECE) and resolutions regulating suchactivities.Complement secondary data from the study projects the activities in force in themanagement course on campus Francisco Beltrao. The results under a first look, pointalignment of extension practices Unioeste, broadly, and specifically the campusAdministration Course Francisco Beltrao. However, from a critical perspective, the studyreveals no extension of articulation with teaching and research, supporting the fragmentationin the education of administration.
