3D Motion Estimation and Texturing of Human Head Model
Abstract
This paper deals with 3D motion estimation of the wire frame headmodel on the basis of the analysis of the parameters of 3D globalmotion of the real human head for each frame of videosequence. Theproposed algorithm of 3D global motion estimation is given by solutionof 6 linear equations for three extracted feature points of the realhuman head in each frame. Next there is presented an algorithm oftexturing of 3D wire frame model of human head after its estimatedglobal motion. Texturing is carried out by two dimensional affinetransform directly in synthesized frames. Both proposed algorithms canachieve very low bit rate in model based image coding.
