Critical Studies in International Relations in Spain

Abstract

This paper deals with the state of the art of critical studies in the discipline of International Relations in Spain. After having presented the main theoretical features and motivations, critical studies nature and challenges are tackled. Afterwards, some of the main themes and research agendas within critical studies in Spanish academy are exposed. Finally, the paper provides some challenges and potentialities that critical studies are currently facing in the discipline of IR as a whole as well as in Spain in particular.
