Promote critical thinking

Abstract

Recognizing the importance of developing critical thinking of students research has been developed in order to establish answer to the question of how to promote this kind of thinking. As regards the teaching / learning of science are described some of the studies that have been conducted in Portugal, including in teacher education. The results of these investigations maintain that more than the type of strategy is mainly to orientate explicit and operation that makes about promoting critical thinking skills
