doi: 10.12957/geouerj.2017.23398 From the papers published in the annals of the National Agrarian Geography Meeting (ENGA), a qualitative analysis ofthe incorporation of the Agroecology thematic in the context of geography was made, comprising the manners and waysin which Agrarian Geography interrelates with Agroecology. Since the 2004 edition, where it first appeared as workingtheme, it was observed a diversity of themes being incorporated into the discussion, though it is possible to establishsome typologies related to various perspectives in which the works were built. In order to better divide the work intowider axles, they were established the typologies of Agroecology and Traditional Communities, Agroecology and Ruraleducation / School, Agroecology and the Struggle for Land / Land Reform, Agroecology and Technical andMethodological Foundations, and Agroecology and Experiences and Case Studies were established. This thematicappears in Agricultural Geography still in the 1990s, due to the paucity of a series of questions about the prevailingmodel in agriculture, and the works published in ENGA recent editions demonstrate the consolidation and growth of thedebate within the geography.
