Pórtico de la Gloria Virtual

Abstract

In this paper the first phase of a broad-scope long-term project named “Portico de la Gloria Virtual” is presented. The main objective of this project is to create awareness concerning the symbolism, the characteristics and the need of preservation of such an extraordinary monumental ensemble as is the “Portico del la Gloria”, trough the utilization of the latest technologies in 3D visualization, virtual reality and augmented reality.
