Çok Kriterli Analiz Yöntemi Kullanılarak Kahramanmaraş’ta Çöp Depolama Alanı Tespiti

Abstract

GIS and RS technologies have proves to be useful techniques in the planning and decision making during determination of best sites. During planning and determination of best sites for landfill, there have to be several criteria in consideration. These factors consist of environmental, technical and social aspects of the area. In this study, the city of Kahramanmaraş, which has no regular landfill site, was chosen to be able to determine best site for solid waste. Weighted Linear Combination (WLC) approach used to evaluate and provide potential site for location analysis for which to determine potential sanitary landfill site around the city. During the GIS processes several coverages were used to analyze best locations for landfill sites. These coverages include hydrologic and social data such as land use, transportation, soil, geology, landslide and streams. This study was able to determine the best alternative solid waste sites in the study area
