The present study was conducted to investigate the productive performance of Red Sindhi cows kept at the Government Red Sindhi Cattle Farm, Hub Chowki, District Lasbela (Balochistan). The least squares means (LSM) for first lactation milk yield (FLMY), lactation milk yield (L Y), milk yield per day of lactation length (MYLL), lactation length (LL), dry period (DP) and life time milk yield (L TMY) were 1488.4 ± 23.2 kg,1531.0 ± 34.8kg,6.6 ± 0.1 kg; 277.3 ±5.6 days, 245.2 ± 11.9days and5203.4 ± 178.4 kg, respectively. The variation in effects of different factors on these traits may be due to different environmental conditions, managemental practices, feeding planes, housing systems and personal skill of labour engaged in farm operations. The little difference of season and year of calving on the traits revealed that there is a narrow range between minimum and maximum temperature throughout the year and within the year and the managemental operations on the farm remained same over the years with little efforts towards improvement.
