Aim. To assess the diagnostic accuracy of the controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) to determine the grade of hepatic steatosis (HS) in patients with chronic liver diseases (CLD) of different etiologies and to compare the obtained results with morphological findings. Subjects and methods. A total of 45 patients (18 men and 27 women) aged 25 to 73 years with CLD were examined.
