Policy of attention to women in situations of violence

Abstract

The article aims to characterize public policies for the attention of women in situations of violence, their implementation and execution in Brazil and Paraguay, with analytical cuts for the twin cities of Foz do Iguaçu/BR and Ciudad del Este/PY, from exploratory studies (law, decrees and regulations of the respective countries) and empirical studies (through on-site visits), with the objective of identifying, in their programmatic contents, the differences and similarities in the process of creation, execution and implementation of those policies in the both cities.
