ANÁLISE DE DESLOCAMENTO EM UMA MINA A CÉU ABERTO
Abstract
The present work seeks to analyze the displacements happened in a open pit mine located in the north of Chile. The data employees for the research were supplied by the Company Codleco-Chile, División Chuquicamata, obeying a control system implanted for the evaluation of displacements. A different methodology from those that have been applied in the place (Automatic Polar System) was used, so that it supplies a comparison tool and assessement of the methodologies. The methods used to process the data were mainly set in the Least Squares theory being applied hypothesis test to evaluate the results and to verify whether the displacements are significant. It can be concluded basing on the results and applied test, that the displacements really exist along the time; it could be an indicative one for posterior researches with regard to the quantitative evaluation of the real displacements and which is the portion of the systematic error that are affecting the results.
