Research on Nonlinear Characteristic of Laminated Coupling Under Different Load Forms
Abstract
In order to study the nonlinear deformation behavior of bolt-flange-joined laminated coupling under three different load forms of tension, bending and torsion load, a local finite element model of the coupling is established. The effects of bolt preload and interfacial friction coefficient on the deformation of the laminated coupling and the stiffness of the bolt flange connection are analyzed. The relationship between the radial or circumferential slip and the nonlinear deformation of the coupling is discussed. The results show that reducing the preload and friction coefficient can effectively reduce the lateral and torsional stiffness of the laminated coupling, but the influence on the bending stiffness is limited. The friction coefficient and the bolt preload have a similar influence mechanism on the torsional stiffness. Research results can provide a useful reference for the design of laminated coupling.
