«TOPOS» AS A SUBJECT AND A PROBLEM OF PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of «place» (gr. topos) as a concept and as a sociocultural phenomenon. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of topological reflection in philosophy. The main attention is paid to the issues of connection of thought and place, interpretation of the meanings of «landscape thinking». “Landscape thinking” proceeds from a semiotic interpretation of culture as a multifunctional whole, in which natural, mental images, philosophy, art, and sociocultural practices develop according to the laws of memory. “Landscape” is understood as the “place” of personal human being, with which his spiritual world is sensually connected.
