The paper presents results of the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles. The study of nanoparticles with the help of XRD showed that the samples have a wurtzite structure with an average crystallite size of 17 nm. The average hudrodynamic radius of the particles, studied with the help of Photocor Complex, was 70 nm. The images obtained with the scanning electron microscope make it possible to state polymorphous nano-sized agglomerates of zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized.
