The aim of this paper is to recover a dialogue between Néstor Perlongher and Haroldo de Campos woven into an in between languages poetic –portuñol– and the translations that the Argentinian made of the Brazilian writer. To achieve this, first, we will describe the way in which portuñol unfolds in Alambres, in order to relate it to the book Galáxias by Haroldo de Campos, taking as the axis Perlongher’s intervention “El portuñol en la poesía". Secondly, we will analyse the translation made by Perlongher of two De Campos´ poems, where once again a portuñol writing takes place. In this way, we will point out a new encounter between the poets in the translation, understood as a deconstructive exercise that takes place in the material of the tongue. Finally, based on these translations, we will mention how Perlongher carried out a critical appropriation of De Campos' poetry. Thereby he introduced De Campos into the tissue of neo-baroque transplatina poetry. In the itinerary drawn between essays, translations and poems, the year 1984 comes out as a bright spot in the ten years of Perlongher's Brazilian exile.
