THE ANALYSIS OF THE CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS AND THE RESULTS OF THE STRUCTURAL ANALYSES OF THE SPORTS FACILITIES
Abstract
In connection with holding of the major international sporting events, the set of the facilities and stadiums has been built in our country over the last decade. Each long-span facility is a unique object with its own features and specifics. Subject of the study: the subject of the study is presented by the stadiums' structures, the features and the results of the analyses related to them. Objectives: the objective is the generalization of the received results, conclusions and experience for the application for designing the new sports facilities. Materials and methods: for carrying out the researches, the design documents and the design program complexes based on the finite element method have been used. Results: the work provides the data on the analysis related to some of the stadiums. The construction solutions are briefly described, and the results of the modal analysis of the roof constructions and the analysis of the block of stands for the coordinated movement of the audience are presented. Conclusions: the following conclusions have been made: it is more expedient to design the roof constructions in the form of an integral rigid disk with the use of the lightest materials, it is expedient to place the rest points of the roof on the lower height marks. All this allows to reduce the cross sections of the elements of the roof and the bowl of the stadiums, their weight and the efforts in them which is especially relevant for the construction in seismic areas.
