This research aims to present an analysis of the compliance with applicable legal requirements relating to safety and health at work, using seven MoLE regulatory standards, in a textile laundry located in the city of São Gabriel da Palha/ES, Brazil, in 2013. The research methodology used was exploratory for field activities, bibliographic and qualitatively through interviews, analysis and inspection of documents in the workplace. The results showed unsatisfactory security conditions for work, given that the index of non-conformity to compliance with the requirements of the standards is high. The study suggests the development of a work plan for attendance to regulatory requirements.
