The search for new methodologies escaping the traditional classroom is certainly welcome by both students and teachers. The aim of this study is to report the activities in the extension project “Learning Science is fun”, performed by students and teachers of Biology course of University Center Cesmac, Maceió-AL. The activities included the applications of games and recreational activity as teaching tools and learning in classes of Sciences. It was observed that the intervention was satisfactory as a tool facilitator of learning contributing in a positive way in learning the subjects of research, the conduct of activities being made so happy and relaxed environment conducive to learning.
