Summary: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a crucial role in facilitating communication between cancer cells and their immediate or remote microenvironments, thereby promoting the extensive spread of cancer throughout the body. In this context, we present a protocol for the isolation of tumor cell-derived EVs followed by in vivo metastasis assessment in a murine ovarian cancer model.
