A AÇÃO SINDICAL NO LABIRINTO DA REESTRUTURAÇÃO PRODUTIVA: os trabalhadores e o Minotauro

Abstract

The present text is aimed at organizing an ensemble of arguments designed to help the understanding and analysis of the labour union movement. Its main milestone are the transformations in society observer from the 1970s onwards. The main changes carried by these transformations are – on the one hand – a series of technological innovations over the productions basis, and – on the other hand - changes in the process of controlling the labour force. This change was based on a neo-liberal discourse. It is important to keep in mind that the changes in the labour environment were an important element designed to overcome the crisis or that period, at the same time that the ideological contents of the neo-liberal discourse played a fundamental role in the creation of the observed hegemony.
