Highlights Contribution in the field of chaos theory by the introduction of generalised symmetric maps and adaptive control parameter to retain chaotic range of the system automatically. Proposal of a pseudo-random number generator capable of producing unique and independent random sequences. Investigation and analysis of the proposed system using standard benchmarks to validate the suitability for cryptographic applications.
