The paper is the final part of the research on the bibliographic project by Conrad Gesner published in La ‘Bibliotheca Universalis’ monumento della cultura europea by Fiammetta Sabba (Rome, Bulzoni, 2012). The purpose of the paper is to highlight the sources used by Gesner to find pieces of information about the jewish authors and works and editions definable as ‘Hebrew reported in the Bibliotheca Universalis and the Pandectae. Although the difficulties in realizing a complete and organic review has been high and complex, it has been possible to find a lot of ancient and contemporary jewish authors and editors and to clarify the value of Gesner’s work about the knowledge and the spread of the jewish culture.
