A taxonomic study on Zimmermannia Hering (Lepidoptera: Nepticuloidea: Nepticulidae), a newly recognized genus with three unrecorded species in Korea

Abstract

The present study is aimed to report on Zimmermannia as new to Korean insect fauna including three species: Z. admiranda (Puplesis, 1984), Z. amani (Svensson, 1966), and Z. sivickisi (Puplesis, 1984). The redescription and images of adult and genitalia for each species are provided with an identification key to the Korean Zimmermannia. DNA barcode of each species is uploaded to the NCBI.
