Some conditions for the management and organization at the University

Abstract

The crisis in the Social Welfare State and Knowledge Societies is affecting the current university system, which lacks clear answers and faces a diffuse and confusing outlook of aims and purposes. In the face of these problems, organization and management turn out to be key strategic factors, and this is so because of their competitive potential, particularly in the university context. However, the university comes from a situation, which is mainly a consequence of its own history. It has to foster changes in order to manage and organize itself optimally. These changes turn out to be the necessary conditions for universities organization and management.
