This article presents the École du spectateur (Spectator School), a research project in the field of digital humanities and performing arts, more particularly in the field of theatre studies. The project participates in the current epistemological transformation of this disciplinary field through the growing contribution of performance studies and is characterised by the use of digital technology for the analysis of the performative dimension of the show, in particular of a tool for the analysis and annotation of videos of performances.
