"SAÚDE, COMO COMPREENSÃO DE VIDA": AVALIAÇÃO PARA INOVAÇÃO NA EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE PARA O ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL
Abstract
Current demands indicate the necessity of thinking different forms to teach about health. The practice advocated and guided by the Brazilian Ministry of Education in the National Curriculum Parameters is that teaching health is a cross-curriculum axis, considering the school as a partner of the family and society when promoting health of children and adolescents. This proposition represents an effective advance, but was hampered by many issues, from the enhancement of scientific training of teachers and students in Basic Education until the lack of good-quality educational materials. The purpose of this study was to promote the historical recovery of attributes like didactical patterns, organization and methodology of the book "Health as comprehension of Life" (MS/DNES - MEC/PREMEM, 1977), innovative publication in the 1980s. Moreover, there was an exploratory study of evaluation by experts, looking for it´s improvement for an updated edition.
