Hypoplasia of the epiglottis is a rare congenital anomaly. It is often associated with complex malformations and presents at birth and infancy with respiratory or feeding difficulties. The long-term evolution of hypoplastic epiglottis cases is not known. We report the case of a neonate with hypoplastic epiglottis who posed to be a diagnostic dilemma for neonatologists
