Museum Types and its Classification Criteria أنواع المتاحف ومعايير تصنيفها
Abstract
This paper aims to introduce clear criteria and standards for museum classification. With a full understanding of the historical development of museums, it aims to identify the ethical standards for classification. The paper set solutions to solve the matter of museum classification and the mixing between several types that might face museologists, museum professionals, and scholars. Many museums sit their missions, mandates, and scopes of collecting based on their reason d'être, history, and the interest of the collectors, among other factors that formed their profiles and missions. In addition, literature often lists museum types without indicating what the standards that have been applied, are nor even illustrating the standards and criteria for classification. Different museum types are often pulled together without pointing out the criteria and classification standards, which causes interference, and mixing between certain types that have been classified according to different standards. In addition to the wide use of some unstandard classifications. Thus, the paper first points out the lack of dedicated studies and the limited use of the standards for classification. Then, it excludes the unstandard classifications pointing out their weakness. Third, to explain and clarification the overlapping between certain types of museums due to the long development and history of museums. : تهدف هذة الدراسة لتقديم منهجية واضحة للقواعد التي يتم وفقا لها تصنيف المتاحف، وذلك بالأستناد علي معايير وضوابط قياسية يمكن تطبيقها مع الإستيعاب الكامل لتطور المُتحف عبر التاريخ. وتبحث الدراسة لإيجاد حلول لإشكالية جوهرية يواجها المتحفيين والباحثين والدارسين. إذ أن الكثير من المتاحف قد تشكلت مُهمتها ونطاق إقتناءها ارتباطا بأسباب نشأتها التاريخية، إهتمامات القائمين علي الإقتناء، وعوامل أخري عديدة، اجتمعت في صياغة مهامها وصورتها الحالية. فضلا عن أن المصادر المتخصصة عادة ما تشير لأنواع المتاحف دون الإشارة للمعايير التي صنفت بناءا عليها. كما لم تقدم صورة كاملة لمنهجية ومعايير التصنيف. وكثيرا ما يتم الجمع في التصنيف بين كافة أنواع المتاحف بالصورة التي تحدث تداخل وإختلاط. ويرجع ذلك لخضوعها للتصنيف وفقا لمعايير مختلفة. فضلا عن شيوع استخدام بعض التصنيفات غير القياسية أو تلك غير الدقيقة. وبناء عليه، فإن الإشكالية الأولي التي تناقشها الدراسة هي غياب الدراسات المتخصصة في تصنيف المتاحف، والإفتقار لإعتماد تطبيق معايير قياسية للتصنيف. ثانيا، محاولة استبعاد التصنيفات التي تستند علي معايير غير قياسية والتي تٌحدث خلطا كبيرا. ثالثا، تبرير وتقنين التداخل الوارد بين بعض المتاحف تأثرا بالتطور التاريخي للمتحف، وفي ظل غياب قواعد تلزم المُتحف باعتماد تصنيف معين
